Eddie Reeves,
Chairman
Eddie is the Director of Human
Resources Operations for Shaw
Industries. He also serves on the
Board of Directors of the United
Way of Gordon County and is a
member of the Leadership Geogia
Class of 2008. He is a member of
Calhoun First Baptist Church. He enjoys coaching Little
League, woodworking and playing golf and tennis. Eddie and
his wife, Stephanie, have two children. |

Terry Vickery,
Vice-Chairman
Larry is the City of Calhoun's Superintendent of Electric &
Telecommunications. He is Chairman of MEAG Distribution
Services Board of Directors and serves on the board of
Electric Cities of Georgia. Larry also serves on the Board
of Deacons for Belmont Baptist Church. He and his wife,
Carol, have two children and four grandchildren. He enjoys
golf and classic truck restorations. |

Brad Rains,
Secretary/Treasurer
Brad is Manager, Maintenance and
Engineering for Shaw Industries-Carriage
Group. He is co-chair of the Community Development Committee
and also serves on the Leadership Development Committee.
Brad serves on the Board of Directors of the United Way of
Gordon
County and is a member of the Gordon County Planning
Commission. He is a member of the First United Methodist
Church. He and his wife, Cherri, have two children. |

Debra Moyer, Past

Debra works for Calhoun
City
Schools as the Graduation
Coach at Calhoun High
School. She serves on the
Board of Directors of Gordon
Hospital and is a member of
the First United Methodist
Church. Debra and her husband, David, have three children,
Glenn, Stephanie and Gregory. |

Dewayne Bowen
Dewayne is a financial
advisor with
Edward Jones in Calhoun. He is cochair
of the Small Business Development
Committee and "community champion" of the Gordon County
Entrepreneur Friendly Initiative. Dewayne is married to
Melisha, a 3rd grade teacher at Belwood Elementary, and they
have two sons; Dylan, 15, and Austin, 11. They are members
of Belmont Baptist Church
and enjoy bicycling, swimming and running. |

Kim Brazell
Kim is Director of Marketing and
Public Relations for Gordon Hospital. She will co-chair the
Public Relations Committee
and also serves on the Small Business Development Committee.
Kim enjoys writing and photography along with
UGA football and other sports. She and her husband, Ben,
have one son, Nicholas. |

Betty Caylor
Betty is the Human
Resources Manager for Mohawk Industries. She is a chair of
the Drugs Don't Work Committee and also serves on the
Leadership Development Committee. Betty is active with the
Boys and Girls Club and Family Resources Center. She enjoys
cooking and gardening flowers. |

Tom Cox
Tim is Financial
Operations Manager for Mannington Carpets. He is chair of
the Existing Industries Committee. Tim is a 2005 graduate of
Leadership Calhoun/Gordon County. He and his wife, Kim, have
two children, Kaci and Craig. He is a member of Liberty
Baptist Church in Dalton and enjoys baseball, fishing,
hunting, and reading. |

Al Edwards
Al is Retail Loan Officer
for Georgia Bank & Trust. He is co-chair of the
Ambassadors/Member Services Committee. Al serves on the
Calhoun City Council; Downtown Development Authority; Gordon
Hospital Foundation Board; is a member and past President of
the Kiwanis Club; B.P.O. Elks, P.E.R.; Northwest Georgia
Football Officials Association. He and his wife, Pam, have
three daughters. Al serves on the Board of Deacons at
Calhoun First Baptist Church and enjoys golf, football,
reading and cooking. |

Lynna Gron
Lynna is the General
Manager of Jameson Inn of Calhoun. She cochairs the
Convention and Visitors Bureau Committee. Lynna and her
husband, Jerry, have two children. She enjoys hiking,
painting, reading novels, and jewelry making. |

Debra Guinter
Debra is Vice-President
and Secretary of DRO Management Company, a family real
estate development company. She will co-chair the Community
Development Committee. Debra is a board member of the
Friends of the Library, serving as membership and newsletter
chairperson, and is a member of the Gordon County Home
Builders Association. She is a member of First Methodist
Church. She and her husband, Rich, have one daughter,
Jennifer, who is a junior at Furman University. |

Becky Hood
Becky is a member of the
Gordon County Board of Commissioners. She is employed as an
Advertising Account Executive for Comcast Spotlight. Becky
will co-chair the Ambassadors/Member Services Committee. She
is a member of Belmont Baptist Church, Foster Parent
Association, and the Gordon County Republican Party. Becky
and her husband, Scott, have three foster children. She
enjoys decorating and scrapbooking. |

David Scoggins
David is a Partner and
Director of Accounting and Auditing Practice at Winter &
Scoggins, CPA's, PC. He will co-chair the Small Business
Development Committee. David is a member of First Methodist
Church where he serves as Chairman of the Finance Committee.
He is a member and director of the Calhoun Rotary Club, a
former board member of the Voluntary Action Center, and a
former Director of Habitat for Humanity. David and his wife,
Amy, have two children, Emily and Matt. He enjoys coaching
his daughter's T-Ball team, golf, and woodworking. |

Vickie Spence
Vickie is Executive Director of United Way of Gordon County.
She will co-chair the Convention and Visitors Bureau
Committee. Vickie serves on the Board of Directors of Family
Connections, the Planning Board of Region One Mental Health,
Developmental Disabilities, Addictive Disorders (MHDDAD),
and is a member of First Baptist Church. She and her
husband, Charles, have two sons,Cooper and Van, and one
daughter-in-law, Mandy. Vickie enjoys walking and attending
UGA sporting events. |

Linda Sainato
Linda is the Director of
First Methodist Church David Day Care Center. She will
co-chair the Public Relations Committee. Linda is a member
of First United Methodist Church and serves on the Board of
Directors of DFCS and Family Connections. She and her
husband, Nick, have three children. She enjoys camping,
boating and family history. |

Dr. Cathy Vann
Cathy is Campus
Manager/Dean of Instruction-Gordon Campus of Coosa Valley
Technical College. She will co-chair the Education Committee
and is also a member of the Community Development Committee
and the Entrepreneur Friendly Committee. Cathy serves on the
Board of Directors of Gordon County Technical Advisory
Education Committee, Gordon County Adult Literacy Council,
and Gordon County Vocational Rehabilitation Committee. She
is a member of the Calhoun Rotary Club and the Shorter
Avenue Baptist Church where she is a Sunday School teacher
and an Awana worker. She and her husband, Eddie, have two
children and three grandchildren. |

Trace Vaughn
Trace works for
Gordon County Schools as the Graduation Coach at Sonoraville
High School. He will co-chair the Education Committee. Trace
is a member of Meadowdale Baptist Church, Gordon Optimist
Club, Citizens Against Meth, Family Resource Center's
Relatives as Parents Program, Big Brothers/Big Sisters
Advisory Committee, and the Winner's Club Advisory Board. He
enjoys antique and sports memorabilia, furniture
restoration, boating, fishing, singing, reading and writing.
Trace and his wife, Melanie, have three children. |
